Share your story

Share your story with other members of the special needs community.

We believe your story has the power to encourage and inspire others in the disability community who are going through similar challenges and stages of life.

Here are two ways you can share your story.

Contribute to Our Blog

Special needs parents, caretakers, family members, advocates, teachers, and more are encouraged to share their experiences to be featured in a guest blog and shared on our Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, and “Circle of Care” Facebook group.

If you are interested in writing a guest blog on our website, please share a little bit about your story in the form to the right. After we review your information, we will contact you with more information on how to submit your post.

In your blog, please include the following information:

  • Your background/relationship with the disability community
  • Lessons you’ve learned throughout your journey
  • Advice for others who may be experiencing similar challenges

Host Our “Circle of Care” Facebook Group

If you’re looking to connect with people who are on similar journeys, who understand your situation, who care about your ups and downs, and who are ready to engage with your story, we invite you to join our “Circle of Care” Facebook group.

In this group, our 400+  members are able to ask questions, post about their day-to-day experiences, share helpful articles and resources, and attend weekly exclusive, educational Facebook Lives hosted by Annette Hines and other disability advocates from across the country.

If you are interested in hosting one of our Facebook Live sessions, please fill out the form to the right and provide information about who you are and the topic you would like to speak on. Once we review your information, we will contact you to discuss upcoming openings.

Share Your Story

With your permission, we would like to share part of your story on our social media, on our podcast, and in blogs to help inspire other members of the special needs community who are likely facing similar challenges. Please indicate if you would like to keep your identity anonymous in the form above.
